Taekwondo School Checklist: Print and Take With You
Ten checks to run during your visit. Tick them off, add notes, and print a copy for each school you compare.
Reviewed by Daniel Reyes, 4th dan Kukkiwon, 18 years teaching | Last checked: October 20, 2026Use this checklist on your trial class visit. Tick each item that you see or are told, add the fees and notes, then print it. Score each school out of 10 and compare. A low score is a reason to ask more questions, not an automatic no.

Score: 0 of 10
The reasons behind each check are in our guide on how to choose a taekwondo school. Warning signs are listed on the red flags page.
How to use it
- Print one copy per school before you go.
- Fill in the name and date at the start.
- Tick items as you see or confirm them. Do not guess.
- Ask for the fee list in writing and note the totals.
- Compare scores and notes at home, not in the lobby.
Frequently asked questions
Does the checklist save my answers?
No. It runs in your browser and does not store or send anything. Print it to keep a copy.
Is this a federation standard?
No. It is our own checklist, built from what good schools do.
What is a good score?
Eight or more out of ten is a reasonable school to consider, and anything below that is worth asking about.
