Cookie Policy
Which cookies this site uses, and how to control them.
Last updated: October 19, 2026This site shows ads served by Google, and Google sets advertising cookies to show and measure them. Other cookies are the ones WordPress needs to work. Sites we link to, such as affiliate stores, may set their own after you click through.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others track what you do, for example to measure visits or show ads.
Cookies this site uses
| Type | Purpose | Who sees it |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary: WordPress | Keeps site editors logged in. Visitors who do not log in do not get these. | This site only |
| Advertising: Google | Google and its ad partners set cookies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure results and prevent fraud. With your agreement, where the law requires it, they can also personalize ads using your browsing. | Google and its partners |
| Analytics | None in use. If we add an analytics tool, it will be listed here. | Not applicable |
Our caching tool may also store technical data to deliver pages faster. It does not identify you.
Cookies from other sites
When you click an affiliate link, the store you land on may set cookies so it can credit us for the referral. We do not control those cookies. If we embed video or social content in the future, the provider may set cookies when it loads. Read the policy of the site you are on.
How to control cookies
- Choose whether to see personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some other companies’ personalized ads at aboutads.info.
- Read How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- In your browser settings you can block or delete cookies. Steps differ by browser, so search your browser’s help for “delete cookies”.
- Blocking necessary cookies will not break reading the site.
- You can also use your browser’s private mode, which clears cookies when you close it.
Changes
If we add analytics or other tracking, we will update this page first. Where the law requires consent, such as in the EU, UK and Switzerland, ad cookies should load only after you agree. Questions: [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.
